Greetings to everyone,

    I hope in the Lord that everyone is getting along well. Quick update on the sanctuary: the contractors are working through the punch list we created and should be complete within the next week or two. We will be ready to put all the electronics in once this is finished. I will announce a workday for anyone who would like to help us clean and refresh all the furnishings to be moved back into the sanctuary. Then the project will be complete. We will then have a special service to commemorate and dedicate it all to the Lord. This will be a special service with dinner on the grounds to follow. Therefore, keep praying and get ready.

    Let us never become like the church of Laodicea, lukewarm, a church that makes the Lord want to vomit. They wanted for nothing, thinking they were just fine in all areas. Hot or cold was the Lord’s desire. Hot and on fire to follow God’s commands or cold and unwilling to follow Him. This situation is sad, but true. Lukewarm is knowing, speaking, possessing, etc., but not doing what God wanted. The Lord departed this church because it acted as if it no longer needed or wanted Him.  So, choose in your heart, hot and on fire for the Lord, as we continue to pursue what God has for Lanier. All hands-on deck, let us get busy reaching out to whosoever will come to fill this beautiful place that God has provided. Cold and lukewarm, repent and be earnest, let's come together so that together we can bring honor and glory to God. Thank you, Jesus.
